About Vandersteen Audio
Vandersteen Audio is an American high-end audio manufacturer, renowned for its time- and phase-correct loudspeakers and innovative electronics. Founded in 1977 by Richard Vandersteen, the brand pioneered key technologies such as reflection-free aerodynamic midrange drivers, minimal-baffle cabinets, bi-wiring, battery-biased crossovers, and advanced room EQ in powered subwoofers. Vandersteen speakers emphasize low distortion, natural musicality, and dimensional purity, with all products designed and built in Hanford, California, USA. Their lineup includes legendary models like the Model 1, Model 2, and Model Seven XTRM, noted for exceptional accuracy and musical engagement.
