The VPI Forever Model One turntable ushers in a new era of performance and modularity, paying tribute to over 45 years of VPI heritage. It features a fully modular and upgradeable system blending engineering excellence with future-proof design. The core is a Motor Drive and Platter Module mounted on a thick aluminum plate with a resonance-canceling damping plate to reduce vibrations and improve sound clarity. It uses a 300 RPM belt drive motor (500 RPM in 230V countries) with a two-speed pulley for precise speed control. The Forever Platter is 2 inches thick and 12 inches in diameter with an inverted bearing to minimize friction and boost performance. The new VPI S-Tonearm Module is a 10-inch, S-shaped, statically balanced tonearm with solid aluminum architecture, azimuth adjustment at the headshell, vertical tracking adjustment in the arm base, ABEC 5 bearings for ultra-low friction, a locking threaded counterweight, and internal high-purity copper wiring from headshell to RCA connection. The turntable also introduces a 3-Point Floating Suspension system for superior isolation from external vibrations, stabilizing the turntable and minimizing motor noise. It comes with a 10-year warranty and options for a hinged dust cover and blank armboard for customization.
