The Nottingham Analogue Spacedeck is a meticulously engineered turntable designed by Tom Fletcher, a veteran with over thirty years of experience in turntable design. It features an unusual construction with three separate pillars resting on a composite resin platform (360mm deep, 455mm wide, 50mm thick) to isolate airborne and structure-borne vibrations. The platter is mounted on its own chassis with a single-point admiralty bronze bearing, and the motor is housed separately with an adjustable height anti-vibration base. This design results in a sound characterized by space, speed, and precision, offering an open, expansive, and rhythmically precise listening experience without the warmth or euphony typical of some other brands. The Spacedeck supports 33⅓ and 45 rpm speeds and can be upgraded with a second tonearm mount, a heavy upgrade kit (including a heavy graphite overlay plate), and a 25mm graphite mat. The turntable weighs approximately 39 lbs and measures 18" wide x 14" deep x 8" high. It is available in a high-gloss black finish with optional color customization. The Spacedeck is considered a sensible starting point for building an ultra-high-performance turntable system and is praised for its engineering and sonic capabilities.
