About the YP-D6
The Yamaha YP-D6 is a vintage, two-speed direct-drive turntable introduced in 1977. It uses a 12-pole, 24-slot DC servo motor and a dynamically balanced die-cast aluminum platter. Its S-shaped, static-balance tonearm has a detachable headshell, and the turntable includes automatic tonearm return and shutoff at the end of a record, plus strobe speed indication and pitch adjustment. The model was manufactured in Japan and is no longer in production.
