About the TD 145

The Thorens TD 145 is a Swiss-made, two-speed belt-drive turntable with a suspended chassis and semi-automatic end-of-record operation. It uses a TP 16 tonearm; when the record reaches its final groove, the tonearm lifts and the turntable stops. This is the original TD 145 model, not the TD 145 MKII.
