About the TD 125
The Thorens TD 125 is a manual, belt-drive turntable introduced in 1968. It uses a suspended subchassis supported by three springs and electronic motor-speed control based on a Wien-bridge oscillator. The original TD 125 was offered in different configurations, including versions with a TP-25 tonearm and versions supplied without a tonearm; the TD 125 Mk II is a separate later revision and is not described here.
