About the SL-D202
The Technics SL-D202 is a two-speed, semi-automatic direct-drive turntable. It uses a brushless DC motor with FG servo control and an aluminium die-cast platter. Its S-shaped, statically balanced tonearm has a detachable headshell; the turntable provides electronic speed selection, pitch adjustment and automatic tonearm return and stop at the end of a record. It was commonly supplied with a Technics EPC-U25 moving-magnet cartridge, though cartridge fitment may vary by market or seller.
