About the Comet
The SOTA Comet is a belt-driven analog turntable featuring a multi-layered platter design for resonance control and a precision tonearm. Current iterations include the Series VI model with Rega-derived RB330 tonearm, while earlier versions used proprietary arms like the LMT-II. The design emphasizes speed stability (0.1% wow/flutter) and includes features like an optional screw-down record clamp for LP flattening.
