About the 20/12
The SME Model 20/12 is a high-mass, belt-driven suspended turntable with a fluid-damped O-ring suspension. Its three-phase, eight-pole motor is controlled by an external electronic speed-control unit and supports 33⅓, 45, and 78 rpm. The turntable uses a 325 mm platter and is designed for a 12-inch tonearm, with the SME 312S available as a matching option. The system includes separate power and speed-control units.
