About the Aria MK1
The Rega Aria MK1 is a high-performance phono preamplifier featuring entirely separate moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) amplification circuits. Designed for audiophile-grade turntable systems, it employs discrete analog circuitry with FET-based MC input and bipolar transistor MM input to preserve signal integrity. The MC stage offers adjustable resistive (70-400Ω) and capacitive (1000-4200pF) loading via rear dipswitches, along with selectable gain levels (63.5/69.3dB) optimized for low-output cartridges.
