About the RPM 1.3 Genie
The Pro-Ject RPM 1.3 Genie is a belt-drive turntable with a fully decoupled synchronous AC motor and a two-step pulley for 33 and 45 rpm operation. Its 300 mm, approximately 1.6 kg platter is driven by a low-noise bearing system and supplied with a felt mat. The turntable is fitted with Pro-Ject’s 8.6s S-shaped aluminum tonearm and a moving-magnet cartridge, with the supplied cartridge varying by market and package version. The standard counterweight accommodates cartridges weighing approximately 4–9 g, with an adjustable tracking-force range of 15–30 mN. It provides line-level RCA outputs and a separate grounding connection, and uses an external 12 V/200 mA AC power supply. Dimensions are 380 × 115 × 350 mm, and weight is approximately 3.3 kg.
