The Pro-Ject Debut Carbon DC is the predecessor to the Debut Carbon EVO, renowned for setting standards in affordable audiophile turntables. It features a one-piece 8.6-inch carbon fiber tonearm with integrated headshell for superior rigidity and low resonance, a heavy 300mm (12-inch) machined steel platter with felt mat for excellent speed stability, and a precision stainless-steel bearing. The belt-drive design uses a synchronous AC motor with TPE (ThermoPlastic Elastomer) suspension for silent operation and reduced vibration, powered by an ultra-precision DC-driven AC generator (like Speed Box technology) for ultimate speed accuracy. It includes a pre-mounted Ortofon 2M Red moving magnet cartridge, gold-plated RCA outputs with ground wire, manual speed change for 33/45 RPM (78 RPM optional), silicone-damped tonearm lift, and dust cover. Handmade in Europe with MDF plinth and shock-absorbing feet.
