About the 2010S
The Exposure 2010S CD player is designed as a high-quality SACD/CD player with a classic, robust aluminum chassis and traditional fascia. It uses a single PCM1716 24-bit DAC to provide very high resolution audio playback. The player features a frequency response from 2 Hz to 20 kHz, a signal-to-noise ratio of 100 dB, and total harmonic distortion of 0.008%. The CD display can be turned off to improve sound quality. The unit includes analog RCA outputs, digital outputs including high-quality BNC and TOSLINK, and a toroidal transformer with separate secondary windings for drive/display, digital, and analog audio sections. The internal circuitry is designed for short signal paths and uses quality components such as Elna filter capacitors and Burr-Brown PCM1716 DAC chips. The player is noted for its solid build, attention to detail, and classic British HiFi design ethos.
