About the DM38
The Halcro DM38 is a reference-grade stereo solid-state power amplifier rated at more than 180 watts per channel into 8 ohms and more than 350 watts per channel into 4 ohms. It provides balanced XLR, unbalanced RCA voltage-mode, and RCA current-mode inputs, along with exceptionally low distortion and a patented power-factor-corrected switch-mode power supply. The amplifier is designed for demanding high-end loudspeaker systems, including electrostatic speakers, and may be remotely controlled by a compatible Halcro preamplifier. It weighs 55 kg and measures 790 mm high by 400 mm wide and 400 mm deep. The chassis includes solid mahogany feet.
