About the CS 704
The Dual CS 704 is a German-made, two-speed semi-automatic turntable produced from 1976 to 1979. It uses Dual’s electronically regulated EDS 900 direct-drive system and has a suspended subchassis, a 300 mm die-cast aluminum platter, illuminated stroboscope, pitch adjustment, and an anti-resonator-equipped tonearm. It was commonly supplied with a Shure V15 III cartridge, though cartridge fitment can vary by example.
