The Statement v2 turntable by Clearaudio is a masterpiece of audio engineering designed for the most realistic and entertaining reproduction of vinyl records. It features a magnetically suspended platter made from POM with a stainless steel flywheel for mass damping and ultimate speed stability. The turntable uses a non-contact magnetic drive system controlled by a microprocessor that checks speed 7,000 times per minute, ensuring speed accuracy better than ±0.03%. The entire turntable self-levels using an integral pendulum gyroscopic base with oil damping, housed on a massive stand constructed from layers of Panzerholz (bulletproof wood) sandwiched between stainless steel plates and pillars to isolate from vibrations and resonance. It includes a sophisticated control panel with real-time speed control and an active blue LCD display for start/stop, speed selection (33⅓, 45, and 78 rpm), and fine pitch control. The turntable is complemented by the Clearaudio TT-1 linear tracking tonearm and the Goldfinger Statement moving coil cartridge, with options for additional tonearms.
