About the R-S700
The Yamaha R-S700 is a discontinued two-channel Natural Sound stereo receiver with 100 W per channel of minimum RMS output into 8 ohms (20 Hz–20 kHz, 0.019% THD). It combines Yamaha ToP-ART circuitry and an ART Base chassis with a built-in AM/FM tuner, phono input, subwoofer output, and speaker A/B selection. Features include Pure Direct, switchable CD Direct Amplification, continuously variable loudness control, Zone 2 output and control, and connections for optional Yamaha iPod docks.
