About the AX-596
The AX-596 is a two-channel Natural Sound integrated stereo amplifier. It delivers 100 W per channel into 8 ohms from 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 0.015% THD, and includes MM phono input, CD/DVD Direct Amp, Pure Direct, continuously variable loudness control, tone controls, speaker switching, and Pre Out/Main In connections. Yamaha lists a frequency response of 20 Hz–100 kHz (+0.5/−3 dB) and a damping factor of 320. The model is discontinued.
