About the SX1000
The SX-1000 is a single-channel, Class D monoblock power amplifier using an ICEpower output module and Wyred 4 Sound’s balanced, direct-coupled dual-FET input stage. It provides balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs, a 12 V trigger, and speaker binding posts. Manufacturer specifications list 570 W into 8 ohms and 1,140 W into 4 ohms at 0.2% THD+N; this is the original SX-1000, not the later SX-1000R.
