About the Bishop
The Bishop is a discontinued floorstanding loudspeaker introduced as Wilson Benesch’s flagship model in 1999. It uses nine Tactic drive units, with eight arranged in an isobaric configuration for low-frequency reproduction. Its design uses separate enclosures for the low-frequency and mid/high-frequency systems, with curved, prestressed Advanced Composite Technology panels. The manufacturer’s history identifies the Bishop as the first loudspeaker to use its Tactic drive technology.
