About the Cosecant v2
The Cosecant v2 is an earlier version of Wavelength Audio’s Cosecant USB digital-to-analog converter, distinct from the later Cosecant v3 and Cosecant N2. It uses a non-oversampling design and a USB interface; contemporary descriptions of the v2 report support for 16-bit audio at 32, 44.1, and 48 kHz. The Cosecant design uses a 6GM8/ECC86 tube output stage with transformer-coupled output and a separate power supply.
