About the GIYA G1
The original GIYA G1 is a four-way, five-driver floorstanding loudspeaker launched in 2008. Its complex loaded carbon-fibre-filled polymer cabinet uses tapered-tube loading for the D26 tweeter, D50 midrange and C125S lower-midrange driver, with two 225 mm C225 bass drivers in an exponentially tapered-tube-enhanced bass-reflex arrangement. The original model was succeeded by the GIYA G1 Series 2; the Series 2 was taken out of production in early 2021. Specifications here refer to the original GIYA G1, not the Series 2 or later G1 Spirit models.
