About the RD100
The Vitus Audio RD-100 is a Reference Series DAC and linestage preamplifier in a single chassis, with fully analog volume control, analog balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs, and digital circuitry that is defeated when analog inputs are used for pure analog linestage operation. It supports digital audio up to 32-bit/192 kHz and includes six digital inputs: USB, optical, two coaxial, and two AES/EBU. The front panel has soft-touch control buttons and an LED display for volume, input selection, and menu functions, while the rear panel also provides RCA and XLR analog inputs. It uses an IEC power inlet with support for aftermarket power cords and includes an earth/ground contact.
