About the CHT-15
The Velodyne CHT-15 is a powered, forward-firing subwoofer from the CHT series, distinct from the later CHT-15R and CHT-15Q models. It uses a 15-inch reinforced-fiber-cone driver and a Class A/B amplifier rated at 300 watts RMS and 750 watts dynamic. Its controls include an adjustable low-pass crossover, selectable high-pass crossover, variable phase and volume, and a Subwoofer Direct crossover-bypass setting. It provides both line-level and speaker-level inputs and outputs, with signal-sensing automatic power on/off.
