The name “Vacuum Tube Logic (VTL) Lohengrin” refers to VTL’s Lohengrin Reference Monoblock tube power amplifier, not a VTL loudspeaker. It is a high-power, single-channel Class AB1 valve amplifier designed for demanding loudspeakers. The amplifier uses a fully differential signal and output architecture, zero global negative feedback, automatic bias control, fault monitoring, and an adjustable damping factor. It can operate in tetrode or triode mode, producing up to 400 watts or 200 watts respectively into a 5-ohm load. VTL lists it as part of its current Reference amplifier range; Do not confuse it with the Verity Audio Lohengrin/Lohengrin II loudspeaker, which is a separate product made by another company.
