About the Pluto

The original U-Turn Pluto is an external phono preamplifier designed for moving-magnet cartridges. Its analog circuitry applies RIAA equalization and provides 36 dB of gain, with a subsonic filter to reduce low-frequency rumble. It uses WIMA film capacitors and precision resistors and is housed in a metal enclosure intended to shield the circuitry from interference. This is the original Pluto model, not the later Pluto 2.
