About the Temper
The Transfiguration Temper is a moving-coil phono cartridge designed by Seiji Yoshioka. The original Temper uses a yokeless, dual-ring-magnet motor design and a resonance-controlled aluminum body. Published specifications for the original model include a 0.2 mV output, 3-ohm internal impedance, boron cantilever, and a PA line-contact diamond stylus. It is distinct from later variants such as the Temper V and Temper W.
