About the Phoenix
The Transfiguration Phoenix is a low-output moving-coil phono cartridge with a yokeless, double-ring-magnet generator and a resonance-controlled aluminum body. Its generator uses a square Permalloy core with pure-silver coils, a solid boron cantilever, and an Ogura PA solid-diamond stylus. The Phoenix is distinct from the later Phoenix S model.
