About the DM7
The Topping DM7 is a discontinued 8-channel USB DAC built around ESS’s ES9038PRO flagship DAC chip. It uses fully balanced TRS outputs, supports multichannel PCM and DSD playback over USB, and includes 12V trigger in/out plus remote control. It was positioned as a compact, high-performance DAC for 7.1, 6.1, 5.1, and stereo systems rather than a headphone or streaming device.
