About the SA/3
The Threshold SA/3 is a two-channel solid-state power amplifier from the company’s SA Stasis line, designed by Nelson Pass. It uses Threshold’s Stasis circuitry and is rated to deliver 50 watts per channel into 8-ohm loads. Published specifications list a 7 Hz–100 kHz frequency response, 0.05% total harmonic distortion, and a 700-watt toroidal power supply. This is the original SA/3 model, not the later SA-3.9e.
