About the Maximinus
Thrax Audio Maximinus is a high-end universal DSP-controlled discrete R-2R ladder DAC/D/A converter from Thrax Audio. It is known for its fully differential, transformer-coupled output stage, selectable digital filters/reclocking/upsampling, and modular/upgradable design. The original Maximinus is a DAC, and later Mk2/Mk2S versions added network/streaming features and Roon Ready support.
