About the Casablanca IVa
The Theta Digital Casablanca IVa is a flagship music and cinema controller/preamp-processor introduced as an updated version of the Casablanca platform. It adds decoding for Dolby Atmos and Auro-3D, with future upgradeability to DTS:X, and continues Theta’s proprietary Jitter Jail II and Dirac Live 96 kHz digital room correction and optimization. The IVa revision also includes new metalwork and a new display window. It is designed for up to 12 channels of processing, with onboard 24-bit/192 kHz DACs and modular DAC cards that can be configured for two to six channels each. The processor supports 4K HDMI video pass-through and comprehensive system control connectivity, including 12-volt triggers and RS-232 integration for home automation systems.
