About the UD-501
The UD-501 is a discontinued dual-monaural digital-to-analog converter with asynchronous USB audio input. Its circuitry uses two Burr-Brown PCM1795 DACs and separate toroidal power transformers for the left and right channels. It accepts PCM audio up to 32-bit/384 kHz and DSD at 2.8 or 5.6 MHz over USB, and provides balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA line outputs, plus a 6.3 mm headphone output.
