About the Raven C

The Talon Raven C Loudspeaker is a 2-way floorstanding speaker designed by Talon Audio to offer high-end sound quality at a more affordable price point compared to their Khorus model. It features a single 10" proprietary Talon woofer and an Accuton tweeter, providing a frequency response from 19 Hz to 25 kHz. The speaker uses a balanced crossover design with Talon's Common Mode Rejection Circuit, which avoids traditional filters to achieve steep slopes of about 30 dB with less phase shift, resulting in a very low noise floor and extremely quiet background. Internal wiring is custom-designed and manufactured by Kimber Kable. The Raven C is known for its transparency, detailed soundstage, and powerful dynamics. Optimal placement involves spacing speakers 8-10 feet apart, slightly toed outward, and about 3 feet from walls for best bass response. The speaker weighs 130 lbs and has dimensions of 40 ¾" height, 17 ½" width at base, and 20 ½" depth at base.
