About the SugarCube SC-1 Plus
The SugarCube SC-1 Plus is a real-time vinyl and tape noise-removal component. It combines SweetVinyl’s Click & Pop Removal with SVNR (Surface Noise Reduction), which can reduce steady background surface noise. Its 24-bit/192 kHz A/D and D/A conversion, refined analog path, and analog bypass support use between a phono stage and preamplifier, or as an ADC/DAC with a computer. Connections include gold-plated RCA analog inputs and outputs, USB-B for computer audio, USB-A digital output, optical and coaxial S/PDIF outputs, and wired Ethernet. It has a front-panel LCD and controls, with additional control through iOS, Android, and web interfaces. The manufacturer’s product page lists it as sold out and describes production as limited; this does not establish a discontinuation year.
