About the SR-Lambda
The SR-Lambda is the original Lambda-series electrostatic earspeaker, introduced in 1979. It uses a push-pull electrostatic driver and a six-pin normal-bias connection; its 230 V bias requirement means it is not compatible with amplifiers that provide only the later 580 V Pro-bias output. STAX’s product history lists the original SR-Lambda as a semi-panoramic-sound earspeaker.
