About the SR009
The SR-009 is an open-back, over-ear electrostatic earspeaker introduced in 2011. It uses a push-pull circular electrostatic element with a thin-film diaphragm and STAX’s Multi-Layer ElectRodes (MLER) fixed electrodes, housed in lightweight machined aluminum. It requires a compatible STAX amplifier providing a 580 V DC bias and connects via a 5-pin cable.
