About the SR007
The SR-007, also known as the Omega II, is an open-air electrostatic earspeaker introduced in 1998. It uses push-pull electrostatic drivers and requires a compatible STAX high-voltage Pro-bias energizer; it is not a conventional headphone that can be driven directly from a standard headphone output. The original SR-007 is discontinued and is distinct from later models such as the SR-007A, SR-007MK2, and SR-007S.
