About the M100
The SMSL M100 is a compact digital-to-analog converter with USB, optical, and coaxial digital inputs and stereo RCA line-level output. The original M100 uses an AKM AK4452 DAC and a second-generation XMOS XCore200 XU208 USB interface. It supports USB PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz and native DSD up to DSD512; optical and coaxial inputs support PCM up to 24-bit/192 kHz. This is the original M100, not the later M100 MKII, which uses a different DAC chip.
