About the 3012-R

The SME 3012-R is a 12-inch precision pickup arm, reintroduced for professional and enthusiast hi-fi use after production of the original Series II arms ended in 1972. It uses a traditional J-shaped arm tube and a detachable headshell, with adjustable tracking force and anti-skate. The manufacturer’s instruction manual specifies compatibility with standard half-inch cartridge mounting and cartridges requiring at least 1.25 g of vertical tracking force.
