About the 850P
The Simaudio MOON Evolution 850P is a flagship two-chassis, solid-state stereo line preamplifier. Its separate controller/power-supply chassis and audio chassis support a dual-mono, fully balanced differential design with an open-loop circuit topology and no capacitors in the audio signal path. The 850P uses Simaudio’s fully discrete M-Ray R-2R volume/gain control, provides extensive analogue input/output routing, individually configurable line inputs (including home-theater bypass capability), and remote/control-system integration. It is a line-level preamplifier, not a phono stage, DAC, streamer, or headphone amplifier.
