The Silent Running Audio VR fp isoBASE Platform is a high-end, custom-designed equipment isolation platform tailored specifically for the component it supports. Its height ranges from 2 to just under 4 inches depending on the component's characteristics. The exterior is coated with a catalyzed blend of rubber and cyclonically exploded glass to limit static electricity, electromagnetic interference (EMI), and radio frequency interference (RFI). Beneath this coating lies a proprietary high-pressure hybrid laminate, 0.75 inches thick on top and up to 1.25 inches thick on the sides. The platform rests on four spiked feet, each connected to a module inside the unit that provides six degrees of free motion (forward, backward, left, right, up, down) with 80 internal parts per module, enabling exceptional resonance isolation down to 3Hz.
