About the Mark IXB
The Mark IXB is a vintage solid-state stereo preamplifier and control center with a built-in seven-band graphic equalizer. It provides preamplifier inputs and switching for program sources, along with equalizer, volume, and balance controls operated by slide controls and pushbuttons. It is distinct from the earlier SAE Mark IX, which uses a five-band equalizer.
