The Rogue Audio Apollo Dark Monoblock Amplifiers were developed as special versions of the standard Apollo monoblocks for critical product launches at events like CES. Built for other audio companies to showcase their premium loudspeakers, these amps feature an enlarged and improved power supply, numerous circuit and component upgrades including ultra-premium coupling capacitors, increased power supply storage, Hex Fred high-speed diodes, polypropylene bypass capacitors, nude Vishay resistors, rhodium binding posts and RCA jacks (Cardas), upgraded signal wiring (Cardas), and premium Telefunken and RCA small signal tubes. The black anodized CNC machined aluminum chassis houses 6 x KT120 output tubes, 2 x 12AU7, and 1 x 12AX7 per monoblock. Designed for perfect channel separation, they include balanced (XLR) and RCA inputs, both 4 and 8 ohm binding posts, user-selectable triode/ultralinear output, built-in bias meters and tool, massive high-storage LC power supply, and ultra-high performance transformers. Fully tested, burned-in, and auditioned, entirely designed and built in the USA.
