About the Lamhorn 1.8
The Lamhorn 1.8 is a high-efficiency, single-driver back-loaded horn loudspeaker designed and manufactured by Robert Lamarre’s Montreal-based RL Acoustique. Its folded horn is approximately 1.8 meters long, and the cabinet is designed to accommodate several 8-inch full-range drivers, including AER, REPS, and Lowther models. The speaker is approximately 50 inches high, 12.5 inches wide, and 16.5 inches deep at the base, with a tapered cabinet and rearward-sloping front baffle. It is intended for use with low-powered amplifiers and benefits from substantial space behind the cabinet for proper bass and soundstage development.
