About the Exact 2
The Rega Exact 2 is a high-end moving magnet (MM) phono cartridge, hand built in England to exacting standards. It features Rega’s unique 'Vital' stylus, which is a complex fine line micro-ground from a rectangular diamond billet, allowing for more precise tracking of vinyl grooves and greater extraction of musical detail. The cartridge uses high-specification parallel wound coils, assembled on custom jigs for tight channel balance and superior stereo imaging. The three-point mounting system ensures optimal rigidity and easy setup on Rega tonearms. The Exact 2 is recognized for its energetic, detailed sound, with a focus on midrange purity and transient response.
