About the Quintet

The PS Audio Quintet Power Center is a premium AC power conditioner designed to protect and enhance audio and video systems. It features 10 outlets divided into 5 independently isolated zones, each with dedicated differential mode filtering combined with a common mode Nano Crystalline filter to reduce noise and interference. The unit provides true surge and spike protection, over and under voltage protection, and component-level AC cleaning starting at frequencies above 40 kHz, improving sound clarity, dynamics, and video color saturation. It includes a replaceable power cartridge containing surge protection and filtering components, ensuring easy maintenance after severe power events. The Quintet supports 1750 watts output, sufficient for demanding systems without restricting dynamics or soundstage. Additional features include 12V triggers, power sequencing, and protection for CATV and telephone lines. The chassis is robustly built from thick aluminum with solid copper power bars and nickel-plated Power Port receptacles, combining durability with elegant industrial design inspired by BMW motorcycles. The Quintet is regarded as a cost-effective alternative to PS Audio's higher-end regenerators, offering significant improvements in noise reduction and audio performance at a moderate price point.
