About the K8
The ProAc K8 is a high-end floorstanding loudspeaker from ProAc's K series, utilizing larger 8-inch Kevlar weave bass drivers compared to the K6 model. It features a redesigned shallow billet aluminium midrange horn for wide dispersion and detailed imaging, paired with ProAc's signature ribbon tweeter for natural highs. The bass drivers are ported via curved tubes in the base for deep extension. A new crossover with audiophile components and studio-quality inductors enhances performance. Discontinued in 2024 and replaced by the K10, the K8 delivers a wide soundstage, clean bass, and natural sound, available in various wood veneers including premium options.
