About the Reference Studio/60
The Paradigm Reference Studio/60 is a high-end floorstanding loudspeaker from Paradigm's Reference/Studio series, produced in several generations (v.1 through v.5) and used as a main left/right speaker in serious 2-channel and home theater systems. Across its versions it remains a compact tower design with a 2.5-way, multi-driver layout, typically using a 1-inch dome tweeter with dedicated mid/bass and bass drivers, along with a rear or front bass port to extend low-frequency response. Later versions (e.g., Studio 60 v.5) employ Paradigm's proprietary G-PAL/S-PAL aluminum driver technologies in a 4-driver, 2.5-way configuration for improved dynamics, imaging, and low-distortion performance.
