About the BDP-105
The OPPO Digital BDP-105 is a high-end universal Blu-ray player that also functions as a standalone DAC and multichannel analog source. It plays Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D, DVD-Video, DVD-Audio, SACD, CD, HDCD, and supported recordable-disc formats. Its audio design includes two ESS Sabre32 Reference ES9018 DACs, a toroidal power supply, dedicated stereo circuitry, balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA stereo outputs, and 7.1-channel analog outputs. It also accepts external audio through asynchronous USB, coaxial and optical digital inputs, and HDMI inputs. The BDP-105 is a discontinued model; OPPO Digital’s product listings identify it as a finished/discontinued product.
